shared rides to the airport

I go to/from LaGuardia at least once or twice a week and take a car service since the subway/bus takes way too long and there is no time-effective shuttle service. While taking a car is quick, it's also expensive and I'd like to find a way to save some dough.

Is there any forum for sharing rides? Is there critical mass to do this?

Really, I fly out of JFK/LGA 2 a month. Maybe we should coordinate something in the Classifieds or something. Like if you know what time you are flying out... and post it. Like what they did during the MTA strike.

For example, I am flying from JFK on Aug 4th for a 6pm flight... I would share a ride.

i drive myself out there once a week to pickup cargo sometimes around morning/noon time. usually tuesdays.

It would be worth a shot to try to coordinate rides if we could get enough interest. Seems like the best way to go it is to provide information about where you are leaving from and what time you want to leave (as opposed to the time of your flight since everyone has different comfort levels with how early they want to get to the airport.)

Howabout just posting to this thread when you're going, and someone can PM if they're interested.

To JFK, Tue 25 July, leaving PH no later than 18:00, earlier is ok.

To JFK, Friday Aug 4, leaving PH no later than 3pm, but I can leave earlier.

me might be going to jfk tomorrow night. depends if my cargo flight comes in. i'll post .
