Anybody has a circular saw? Or knows where to get wood cut?

Hi everyone,

I am putting wall shelves in my apartment, using wood panels from an old bookshelf I dismounted. They're a little too deep, so I need to have them cut.

I was wondering if anyone here had a circular saw and would

do it. There would be 4 simple cuts, I would have the cut lines already drawn. I just can't afford a circular saw right now, but wouldn't mind paying somebody to do this simple job.

Or, if you know a place that would cut wood that wasn't bought there, or a handyman in the neighborhood, please let me know.

Thanks a lot!

-Mat

I believe that Home Depot rents tools... not sure which ones though.

not sure where you are but if you can swing through LIC (Court Square), I'd be happy to help, no charge. Our woodshop is SDI 21-36 44th rd.

Let the record show that matmat's wood was cut this evening in whynot_31's woodshop.

No harm came to matmat or whynot_31. The dog in the avatar barked and wagged its tail.
