Where could I have a party next Saturday?

I'm lame and have farted around way too long on planning for my birthday next Saturday. I think my apartment would get way too hot with a lot of people over, so I'd like to invite some friends to a bar in the neighborhood. But what bar could accommodate a large-ish group (say, 20 or 30 people maybe?) on a Saturday night? Any suggestions?

The Santa Fe is the only one I can think of. Maybe the new bar Farmer's Market. My invite hasn't arrived btw. It's probably lost in the mail.

Union Hall is big enough - the new place on Union Street just up from Fifth Ave in the Slope. HUGE, with A/C.

Also that newish Perch place on Fifth Ave all the way over at, say 5th St. The design is very mod cute, and I don't think it has caught on at all as an evening place. They are hot in the daytime with the stroller crowd. Prime real estate!

I realize none of these are in PH, but there's alot more excess space on the other side of Fatbush...
    :D
    happy birthday!

I'll post the info here once I figure out what I'm doing, promise.

Where are these two joints? What are they like? I haven't been to either.

flatbush farm, on st. marks and flatbush, could totally handle 20+ ppl.

    obviously, soda could, too.

also, the front part of indigo could hold 20+ ppl.

You know, I've *never* been to Indigo, but it sounds like a good candidate -- Soda would probably be too packed, I reckon.

I passed by Union Hall last week and wondered what it was. After a little Googling, it looks pretty cool, but I'd like to do something within staggering distance of my own place.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Lemme stew on it a bit more...

Wasn't able to make it to Indigo and don't think I'm going to have a chance to before my birthday, so I've decided to go with what I know and do it at Soda. Brooklynian folks are more than welcome to come:

I've been putting off planning this out of sheer denial, but the fact remains that next Thursday I'll be one notch closer to middle age. Come to beautiful Prospect Heights and watch me get drunker and older! We'll be outside in the back if we can find space on the patio, and if we can't we'll be in the lounge, which you enter by passing the bar and going left. Gifts not required (although cocktails will be gratefully accepted, if you wanna get me liquored up). Lapdances optional but encouraged.

Well, if you're giving the lap dances then I'll buy you the birthday cocktail.

I was actually encouraging people to give ME lapdances (it's my birthday, dammit!) but give me enough beverages and you never know what'll happen.
