Arguably one of the most influential trombonists in Jazz in the last 50 years. His tenure with Art Blakey, recordings with John Coltrane and under his own name are classics. Come see this great trombonist and National Endowments for the Arts Jazz Master.

    Did Curtis Fuller cancel? The web site lists Javon Jackson as playing on February 16 and makes no mention of Curtis Fuller.

    Javon jackson is amazing. Got his jump start with Art Blakey and grew up to be an amazing musician. If indeed javon is on the schedule it would be well worth the listen!

    I will definitely have to keep a closer watch on this web site. I'm so used to going to Manhattan to see all of my live jazz that I haven't bothered to explore Brooklyn venues.
