Seeking Volunteer Cooks/Enthusiatic Bakers!

Volunteer cooks are needed for the Church Avenue BID’s "From Roti to Rhubarb" soup kitchen/cooking class. Work alongside chefs from Shayna’s, El Acuario, Wheated, and Zagat-rated Am-Thai to create dishes to be served at the Flatbush Reformed Church’s weekly soup kitchen. Volunteers must be over 18 and shifts will be Fri. Jan. 25 (late afternoon through evening) and Sat. Jan. 26 (morning and afternoon shifts).

A driver (with vehicle) is also needed both days to help transport ingredients and food, and we are also greatly in need of donations of baked goods from local residents.
