Suffolk County seems to have gotten this storm far worse than NYC.

Lots of folks seem to have had to sleep overnight in the cars.

I try to take the warnings that say "Stay at home. If you get stuck you are on your own: No one will come to help you" very seriously.

Our lights flickered last night, for the first time ever. Didn't happen during any other hurricane or blizzpocalypse, and I'm hoping it never happens again.

Also, I'm really glad that more than half of the recent weathertastrophies have happened over weekends.
