Sequestration arrives in NYC

Guess who voted FOR surveillance at the expense of community centers? The Honorable Congressman Hakeem Jeffries. And guess who had a spine and voted against the national defense authorization act? Yvette Clarke.

These cuts are going to affect those at the near bottom of the NYC's income and social strata the most.

Those who pay taxes, and those who tend to vote, haven't really received much of an impact yet, unless you count encountering Unsightly People: the slightly more than the regular seasonal increase in street homeless that is beginning to be documented.
