Orange Cat on Baltic bt 4/5th Avenue

Hi

does anyone know about the possibly friendly Orange cat on Baltic bt 4/5th Ave.

He/she was meowing and seemed to want to be friendly and was following me, but then some one would walk by. I think some one is feeding he/she because she a tubby kitty.

I wanted to try to get he/she, but she went into a fenced area.

    There are, sadly, many abandoned house cats that are friendly but skittish due to life in the streets. They just need someone to rescue them and find them a home. If you can try to contact the local rescue/Trap Neuter Release people. If the cat was somewhat friendly and tried to follow you, it is certainly not a feral and not equipped to survive in the wild.
