Saw a nice chap working on the store just south of Little Zelda, the old psychic/"Black Ice" space.

He told me that he was opening a store called Wedge, that would serve cheese and charcuterie, etc, hoping to open sometime in May. I said, "that's soon!" He said, "That's why I'm here working today!"

Wow! Didn't the Black Ice place just open this year?

That'll do great in the area.

.....Again jealous of people who didn't get priced out of the area....ho hum.

Went today! Got some delicious cheese and charcuterie, and the lady there was nicer than nice. Pretty pricy, but the tastes and experience--she knew the name of the man who made the cheese I chose!--- made it worth it.

They are also serving sandwiches. Crown Heights is becoming the Awesome Sandwich District.

I stopped in last night on my way home for work. It was pretty crowded (it's a small space) so I didn't stay long, but I was immediately impressed. I didn't buy anything, but definitely will in the future. The smell alone was worth the stop. The woman working the counter was really nice. That have a really exciting selection of all kinds of stuff domestic and imported that looked awesome. Oh, cheese. Why must you be my favorite thing? You're such an expensive date.
