Parkside Ave/Church Ave safety

I'm considering moving to an apartment between the Parkside Ave and Church Ave subway stops near the intersection of Parade Place and Parkside Ave. I was wondering how people felt about the safety of the neighborhood as well as the overall neighborhood vibe. Would you recommend moving there? Thanks.

Definitely recommend it overall. Not sure what your expectations are, though...if you're looking for a place with a hopping nightlife, keep looking. But if you want quiet nights, relative safety, decent takeout, and proximity to the park, its a great place to live.
