Where can I buy worms?

Anyone know the closest spot to Park Slope where I can buy worms?

    What kind of "worms?" Earthworms, meal worms, tubifex worms?

    I assume you are feeding these to some critter? What kind of critter?

    Meal worms and tubifex worms can be bought at most pet shops that sell fish and reptiles. Tubifex can be live, frozen or freeze dried.

    Some pet shops may carry earthworms, but not many. You might find a bait and tackle shop in Sheepshead bay, though I have not been down there in years, they may all be closed and turned into waterfront condos.

    You can order most any exotic pet food online. You might also check garden supply centers.

    Worms!!!

    I remember digging for them in Prospect Park in the vain effort to use the to catch fish. Did find worms but never got so much as a bite from the catfish or any other in the PP lakes.

    Those were some good times there a looooong time ago. :)

    If it's worms for feeding a pet, Petland on 5th Ave usually has wax worms, etc.
