Missing dog - we just learned that one of our client, Pani, escaped from her home tonight. If you are in the Bed-stuy area please help us spread her info. She is a chow/sharpei mix.

Thank you. She is still missing. Please help us spread her info, She escaped while her owners were moving something and they are desperate to find her.

    Thank you.

Housebroken, the owners should also notify Fido. They can send it to their membership and post it on their website as well.

Quickly make many signs with a simpke image of the dog or even a silhouette of her & the heading (in larger type) REWARD! Get a wide roll of tape & put one sign up every 20 ft if there is something to tape it to. Start where the dog escaped & move outward in circles.

Ask the principal of the local grade schools of hand out the same post to the kids - they see lots of things we don't. Go directly to the principal, don't try to hand out the info yourself.

Hand out the same posters at all vets & pet food stores in walking distance.

List the dog as lost with the Center for Animal Care & Control & check EVERY DAY with them. They are overworked & underfunded.

Good news - Pani has been found!!!! She is safe at home. Please remember to keep your dog's collar on (with tags) even when they are at home. It can save their lives in an emergency situation and bring them home quicker if they ever get out.

Thanks for updating us and I'm glad it's good news!

I'm glad you're reminding people to keep ID info on their dogs. I always like to share that an alternative to the tags (they kept falling off of my dog's collar), you can get a collar with your number embroidered on it. I found a lost dog recently and it had current numbers for its owner on the tags which menat a much quicker reunion than if it hadn't had a contact number.

Absolutely. Collars with name and number are a great alternative.
