Anyone know a good place to learn how to ride motorcycles?

i just prep my scooter and need a license to ride it.

    when we were at 'brooklyn bretta' on sackett, they told us about a place where we could get lessons and a license all at the same time. i can't remember the name of the place but i'm sure you could call and ask.

    i'd like to clarify this. the NYS DMV goes by top speed of the bike, not cc's. anything that can sustain speeds above 30 mph requires a Class M motorcycle license. most 50cc scooters can do 30+ mph.

    Isn't there an outfit that teaches motorcycling at Floyd Bennett Field? Would AAA know?

    Typically you get a discount on insurance if you take a safety courses, too...
