It's going to be a cafe with West African flare. Most likely a small food menu, possibly liquor. Open late for leisurely chilling and likely music from time to time. Potential ping-pong matches set up too. The guys building and running it are very nice - stop by and introduce yourself to Kalil!

    Sounds interesting.

A little detective work has revealed that this place seems to have registered with DOH using it's Franklin Ave street address, 762 Franklin, and it's name will be:

    Nimba

Nimba is open! Opened a couple weeks ago, according to the guy behind the counter. Space looks beautiful, tall ceilings with wooden beams, cool custom-made tables, and big bookshelves and easy chairs.

I had some ice coffee that was OK but not great, curious to try their other offerings. Coffee and snacks. (sweet/savory pastries, donuts, etc.)

I just noticed this place yesterday -- it looked super-friendly. Will have to go check it out soon.

I walked by a few days ago on my way to Franklin Park. It looked so cute and cozy! Plus way quieter than the other seating-friendly coffee shops (eg Breuklyn) so probably a good place to study or read. I look forward to checking it out!

I'm a regular here- I work from home and this is definitely the place to go if you want a good coworking space. I wish the coffee was a little better (it's often hit or miss) but it's a great spot. They deserve the recognition.
