Shots fired by Park Place and Nostrand or just firecrackers?

I just heard what sounded like three or four shots coming from Park on or around Nostrand Ave. Anyone else hear them? Weird thing was I didn't any sirens. So dare I hope firecrackers?

    If they were shots, and anyone was hit by said shots, it will usually appear here within 30 min:

    It is quirky, but pretty reliable.

    I.E. Sometimes it doesn't provide the address and you have to click. ...also, sometimes the little icons show up in the wrong neighborhoods, but the address is usually right.

    Newguy, you may here a bit of popping over the next couple of days. There was a party at the apartment buildings over the weekend and complete with a set of helium balloons. The balloons are tied to a tree in front of the building and over the last couple of days, they have been randomly popped by kids.
