Anyone experiencing low electricity?

Has anyone noticed their lights aren't that bright or the AC isn't really cranking? Also my T.V. totally died and then came back on after a flicker with the lights.

Yep, in WT. AC just isn't really getting cold and I keep getting dips in the lights.

After the weekend I just had, I couldn't deal with no electric. Somebody would get hurt.

My TV won't turn on. But then the lights flickered on and off and the TV went on. But now, it won't go on again. I wonder if I can use my computer tomorrow to work? This laptop is always on and is on batteries anyway.

I just spoke to the guy heading up Con Ed work on 7th Ave and 4th who said "The Main Feeder Went" but when I asked him if we would lose power he said "I don't think so."

Lights are noticebly dim in my apt and some of the lights on 7th Ave are out out out.

is anyone still having issues currently? I'm at work (in Manhattan) and I'd hate for the electricity to blow while my little guy is home alone (my dog)
We've been having some drainage of power, not as bad as "the night the lights went out on Union". That night I was running on spit!

If you have an old-school answer machine at home call and see if it picks up. I used to check on my power this way, but now I have VM

i don't worry about it too much because the person
who originally rescued her off the street
couldn't handle raising her cause she already had a dog
so i adopted that dog a month later

this same person, let's call her rita
–takes better care of my dog than i do sometimes

my dog is late getting home. i bet you they're at the dog beach

Dog going out without you, huh?

I'm airconditioning half of my house and my 2 cats are sleeping in the other half. Go figure.

yea. she came home late soaking wet from the doggie beach
she played with one of her boyfriends. this young pit bull mix

got home. ate some kibble with soup
a few treats. some glucosamine chews. laid out flat on the floor
the door is closed otherwise she'd be panting out in the unA/C'ed half of the apt

animals know a/c is not kosher

yeah, what's up with that? i have one air conditioned room, and the rest of the place is god-awful. where is the cat? in the god-awful.

my apt. is a floor-thru, so I have 2 ACs. I usually either cool the living room and dining room (and watch TV) or the bedroom and office (computer, other TV) and close off the kitchen, spare bedroom, bathroom, hallway, etc.

Not only is my cat in the god-awful part, he's snuggling in the furry kitty bed. He's crazy, but I love him. The other one is on the floor right next to him.

yup, i'm also in a floor thru--cat's in front part, in the non airconditioned livingroom/kitchen, i'm in the back in the a/c.

My dogs are like that too. I have to drag them into the air-conditioned room. They prefer to lie in the un-airconditioned hallway, panting and drooling and looking like they're about to die. They are weird.
