Rumor has it that William and Kate were in one of the local real estate offices looking to buy in the area as well.

After the Aristocrates displace the hard working upper managers from Park Slope, the upper managers displace the middle managers from Prospect Heights.

Then the middle managers displace people with graduate degrees from FauxCro, who -in turn- displace people who live in places that used to be regarded as NoGo.

I knew gentrification had taken a new turn for the worse when a fencing club bought the space previously occupied by a Mexican restaurant (7th Ave & 3rd St).
