Bike Shop on Vandy

Just noticed a "store for rent" sign above the bike shop on Vandy b/w Bergen and Dean. I'm trying to think what's next given the turn-over on the street...tapas restaurant? Mexican/Japanese fusion?

Bikesmith, from over on Smith Street, took it over. I think they may only be using the right side of the storefront now.

That place was horrible. Maybe it'll improve under new management.

When Ms Whynot shopped for a new bike last Spring, this was the local bike shop with the FEWEST new bikes in stock and the fewest brands. She purchased one from the bike place near Barc on Bergen instead.

They were nice and repairs were good and inexpensive. I agree they didn't have many bikes to sell. I am sorry to see them leave.
