that curious place on 15th right off 8th, where parents brought tiny children to play music, i think, and bang on things with sticks... walked by today and it's gone, gone, gone.

don't you think we need a really nice, new bar and grill? could bring some good vibes to my yucky corner.

As a mother who brought her kids there, I think it is too bad. I love a good bar and grill, but there are SOOOO many kids in the area that we do need some stuff for them.

I wouldn't feel too bad because basically that is what they do--bang on sticks. But kids really love music and banging on sticks and drums they had nice programs that were sincere and not too trendy and annoying.

it's just such an odd corner, the feel of which would be drastically changed if there were a business there bringing in traffic.

if the four corners we have two delis (nice ones, owned by same family, boasting largest selection of beer in brooklyn... and they may not be kidding...); they get a huge amount of traffic, most of it nice, but then there are a lot of kids (this makes me feel old) partying with their friends and they want beer and they want it now!.

then there's a doctor's office, and the notorious armory. PC or not, i don't always feel comfortable there late at night.

What happened to Musical Bridge? That place was great. Is the space up for rent now?

Just walked by it tonight. Looks like they're still in business but just renovating. All the instruments are still there and I think that they're repainting or something like that. A spot to watch, I guess.
