computer repair shop

Hi there, can anyone recommend a computer repair shop in the Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill/Boerum Hill area? Or even surrounding neighborhoods? Right now all I have to go on are the Yellow Pages listings, and these don't seem too promising. The few shops for which valid, functioning numbers are listed don't seem to answer their phones.

Try the one called Sysut. They have been around a long time.
they are at 2021 Avenue U - 718-743-8303. They also specialize in Dell

If you want something a bit closer, you could try Quick Byte on 7th Avenue in Park Slope. One of their owners posts on the Park Slope board and has helped me navigate Mac questions, though they also work on PCs.

I can't believe Sysut is still around! I remember buying my Amiga 500 from them when I was a kid (I worked all summer to save up enough to upgrade from my Commodore 64).

Yup, they are still there. I think one of the guys there even still works on the comodore 64's
