Extell building collapse

I just heard on NPR (liberal! hippy!) that the building collapse on 100/Bdwy today was an Extell venture.

in the end Extell is reponsible. But i did just read that the building that collapsed was being demolished for a new project. The demolition firm is reputable, union and had all its permits, but that there was a beam, in the 80 year old building, that they were unaware of that caused the problem.

but to repeat, Extell is reponsible in the end. as well as the demolition firm, of course.

it sucks.

I bet it still looks better than Modell's.
