We made AMNY's neighborhood series this morning. I've been in Bensonhurst for two years now and still have much to explore.

Subject: Two Starbucks are better than One

Visited the new Starbucks on 86th St. last weekend. Bigger than the one on 18th down in the 60s. I know the whole concept of Starbucks is way wrong but they do make a damn fine cup of coffee.

    Hey Ace!
Have you been to Carluccio's Brooklyn Italian Heroes on 15th Ave. and 78th St. in Bensonhurst ? I've been trying to figure out if this place is actually there so I can grab a sub. It's supposed to be amazing

    Thanks in advance

Great song. One of my favorite Bowie tunes.

I have not been there yet. I am about three years in Bhurst so I am still finding things. (no good bar yet). I am mostly an 18th Ave. person. Our two Starbucks pretty much mark my stomping.........grounds.

    Subject: Oh....I miss Carluccio's :(

Yes, Carluccio's is very much there. It's right in my former neighborhood. We moved from 76th and 16th just this past April....to Buffalo. Ick. Carluccio's was my savior while I was pregnant last year. Their sub menu is amazing, but I always went with the most basic - the Frank Sinatra. Ask for some of their sundried tomatoes and basil mix along with your regular sandwich fixings and you're bound to have a food orgasm. :) If you're lucky to get there when they have zeppoles out on the counter for sampling, be sure to take one!
