seems like the REAL south end of court is slowly coming around, no? we got abilene already, petit cafe, scaramouche cafe (never been there btw), etc etc. i think theres another bar coming soon, too. couldit be? are we going to have a nice, cozey, little smith-alternative on south court?

Scaramouche is good for picking things up (the coffee is better than Le Petit, the pastries are to die for) but don't sit down to eat. The one time I did it was just me and my friend and it took almost an hour to get our eggs.

red you must be talking about crapy le petit, because I eat there often and specially on th weekends and yes they delay something but that's because is pack of people waiting to eat. The eggs are amazing and the food and service the best.

scaramouche is da bomb brother, I eat there several times and it never took an hour like red said, stop smoking my brother. I went to La Petitt twice and the service was bad and the food come to my plate late and cold, you know my man is not good,

Scaramouche is slow as hell and the people are nasty. They were such pains the owner sold the building rather than deal with them and things like not letting ConEd and Keyspan in for readings and repairs for the apartments upstairs.

As far as the Bar - something Den - there was a killer bar there, Sparky's, until the owner jacked the rent. The new place seems to have been ready to open for months but hasn't. Must be a permit issue.

V&R Pizza is pretty good, as is the Chinese on that block.

Anyway - after 15 years I'm over South Court and am getting out.

My old place is already rented, for way more than it's worth - another reason I'm getting out. Too much money to deal with the noise from the BQE and foot traffic going to the F train
