Floor Sander / Refinisher / Handy-person

Can anyone recommend someone to sand/refinish my hardwood floors? I'm able to do the polyurethane-ing myself -- I need someone to do the actual sanding.

I am moving into a great apartment in Crown Heights next week; it's perfect except for the wall-to-wall carpet that is concealing a hardwood floor in need of some refinishing. I thought it might be easier to hire someone to do the sanding because I don't have a car and schlepping the sander back and forth to Home Depot with a car service might end up costing me just about as much as paying someone to sand the floors.

Any suggestions?
