Me, too. I love that bar. The owner is a sweetheart and a tough cookie, the bartenders are all very good. They do salsa dancing and they let their customers know about what's going on at BAM and elsewhere in the neighborhood, and one of the regulars always asks if I need someone to walk me home - and not in a lecherous way. Good people.

    Great bar and great people
It is my personal watering hole
    Even met my girlfriend there

Norman Kelley will be answering questions about the book and the
    gig starts around 7:30pm tonight

Hope to see people there, I will be rolling in around 9:30pm
Look for me, I will be the one who potentially looks like he is going
to have too much cerveza, minus the carnation in my lapel

my favorite bar in 718 -- its really become more of a neighborhood/social hub for me, the wife & many of our friends than 'just' a bar.

I'm still trying to talk D. into letting me run the coffee service every (well, most) morning(s). its actually just a scheme to be able to play my own iPod shuffles, muahahaha.

    latte, anyone?
