Has anyone taken any courses at BMCC? Just wondering...

Yes, I took two. One was good, one was terrible. I think it depends on your professor.

I agree, I took a couple of core classes to transfer to help finish out my bachelors. Some profs. are good, others not so much. but they do have weekend classes, in case you work full time.

If Brooklyn College has the classes you need, go there. I believe it's the same price.

I took about 30 credits there when I was considering doing another degreeat Jodi. What Jodi says is spot on.

I hear the professor for core classics there is really great and also totally dreamy...

My boyfriend is an English professor there. Jodi's totally on-point - some professors really like what they do and are attentive and good teachers; others are upset with themselves for not getting jobs at "better" schools and consequently treat their job (and their students) with scorn.

BF does not teach core classics - American lit, actually - but is nonetheless dreamy.
