2 new rest. coming to franklin/green!! 1 mexican and 1 pizza

heard from a friend of a friend that the guys behind cafe lafayette in fg are opening a mexican spot on franklin between greene and lexington. and also apparently, a new pizza place is opening soon on that block as well. great news!! now i won't have to trek over to pequena, which never quite made the grade, anyhow. next a wine store, please!!

but you have to cross atlantic! over on prospect place and classon - easily some of the best in NYC - chavellas...

i keep meaning to check out chavellas...i've read nothing but fabulous things on this board.
