What if I think a mod has acted unfairly?

If you think that a moderator has unfairly removed, redacted, split, or otherwise adjusted a post of yours, the appropriate recourse is to PM a site administrator. Attempting to incite an argument about the injustice of it all on a public board is unlikely to help your case.

Please do keep in mind that all three of the admins do work and have lives as busy as yours so sometimes we may not be able to respond immediately, but we all reply to stuff like this as soon as we're able to.

That's just not the case, Oiseau. The site does have rules, linked at the top of every page. "Be nice or leave" is the essence of it - and that includes no name-calling.

No, that isn't what I meant to say at all, and frankly, it's snotty and unfair of you to say so. I don't understand why you've been so hostile and argumentative lately. You used to be pretty nice.

You seem to have decided that the moderators and admins here are all some sort of evil monolith, but there's actually a great deal of discussion among the mods and admins whenever there's a difficult situation on the site, we don't always agree with each other, and we DO try to be fair and give people multiple warnings and chances to stop before taking action. Were that not the case, you probably wouldn't be here right now.

I see Applepants' farewell and my "buh bye" are gone from this thread. An explanation would be nice.

i did not see or move them, but, as a general rule, if a post of yours that refers to a post that is likely to get removed for rule-breaking disappears at the same time as said obnoxious post and you don't hear form a mod, it's a fair bet that the move had nothing to you and that the mod who moved it was too busy putting out fires to pm you, as we try to do.
