Great news. Anyone have more details on where these guys were operating?

well, anyone can see what goes down on Franklin. I guess they took their time building up a case so they could kill the most birds with one stone. Crown Heights drugs are bad anyway, no big loss.

The Times is saying it was based by the Children's Museum. They are reporting 11 arrested: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/08/nyregion/08mbrfs-drugs.html

Based on the two articles sounds like it was multiple locations near the children's museum.

I found a spent bullet in the street the other day, on New York Ave at Sterling. Weird. I kept it.

According to my neighbors the crack house on Sterling at Nostrand was shut down in the raid. Seven people were arrested at the house and Channel 7 was here. Funny, I didn't see a thing....

Saadia Adossa is the Community Specialist for the DA's office covering Crown Heights. Call the main number at the DA and they will connect you to her.

Ms. Adossa's number is 718-250-3370. She is very helpful. As a matter of fact she helped with this investigation and made the community people that were involved feel very comfortable in going to her. It might take some time to investigate but she helped get the job done.

Not really...in 25 years and if you are savvy enough you could make that money legally. All im saying 25 years of my life in prison isnt worth 600k.

Has anyone here read Freakonomics? There is a good section about how the drug trade pays. And how if it pays so well, why do most drug dealers live with their mothers? Basically, what they come up with is the drug dealing ends up being a big pyramid scheme, the 2% guys at the tippity top get all the cash, and the other 98% get less than they would at McDonalds. And shot at. Except the 2%'s also get opened up to the big prison sentences. How it goes. You wanna run this path, just sign up for Amway already, less bullets, all the same bullshit.

After living next to the crack house on Sterling Pl at Nostrand I get a little excited about the busts.

I've SEEN two at that location in the past year and I'm very glad the one mentioned in the article seemed to end the activity on this block.
