Ocean's Grill (Browntone Billiards on 7th and Flatbush)?

Subject: Ocean's Grill (Browntone Billiards on 7th and Flatbush)?

So I see the new decor from the outside, new menu and what looks like an attempt to make the place appeal to a larger crowd. I went there when it used to be the pool place and left after 30 seconds (awful music and really skeevy crowd). Has anyone been there? Has it changed much? I live so close by it would be nice to have a spot to play pool and hang out at.

i live close to it as well and would like to have a few more bars on flatbush or any on 7th. I havent been to Mooneys and Flatbush Farm is way to expensive.

was there w/the wife Friday night. We played 3 games of pool over the course of an hour ($10 bucks) and they offered us each a complementary beer from the new bar. The place is a little dive-like but that's part of the charm. The new bar is a big plus. I'm surprised it's not more crowded.

How is the bar? Hard liquor, or just beer?

Actually, it was great when there was no bar and you could bring your own...
