OK, killer hot day...power outages in Manhattan...anywhere in Bklyn?

I was at work for 12.5 hours oblivious to what was going on in the outside world.

Home based studio, so we were crankin' the AC...not cool enough for the 'puters. Need another AC me thinks

Work had AC but my apt was on FIRE! Not literally, but it felt that way.
Thank god for that storm that kicked in late last night, it finally cooled my place down.

I got no AC at home. My apt wasn't fire, so much as, um, hot soup! I was in AZ last weekend, it was 114 degrees, but I would take that over what I was "swimming" through yesterday anytime. I opened my windows, but. Well, nothing. No air movement at all. I concur on that storm, it got the air moving finally and brought me back to life.

I love AC. it's awesome.

We had the AC on all day yesturday , but the power wasn't so strong. The lights in the kitchen were flickering , the lights in the living room were dim , and the AC wasn't lettting out cool air because the power was too low. I guess it might have been because of the power outage in Manhattan that was mentioned here.

Today is a great day! The AC is working at full capacity , and my place feels like a freezer.

I really don't wanna go out , but I have to later today. Hopefully it won't be so hot out. I think it's gonna rain , and I will gladly walk in it on a day like today.

Arg no AC in our apartment and my room's window opens to an air shaft (no breeze) I've been trying to spend a lot of time away from the apt.

OK, with the rain on the way on day 2, I'm going to downgrade this sucka to a sticky...then to a post. Unless we have another hottie tomorrow!

Sheeat! I forgot to say, DUH, that the reason for the down-grade is I see lots of new posts on all the 'nabe boards!
