Carribean place on 5th between Miriam's and Pizzatown

Subject: Carribean place on 5th between Miriam's and Pizzatown

For months there has been a sign for this upcoming Carribean restaurant on 5th Avenue next to Miriam's and the nail salon. Does anyone know if this place is ever going to open up? (Because I really need more fattening food in my direct area, argh)
