yea, i just called the police and complained. the noise level is insane. i've never heard anything like this. i am astounded the police have let this continue. it's completely unacceptable. i called last saturday and complained. is it a nightclub or someone's house? i am going to take this to the council man or even the congressman for this area. i will not stand for this. if it were a nicer neighborhood the cops would have shut it down long ago.

Please, please call and leave a message at the community affairs number and say you are calling about the noise from last night. If enough people call, they will address the problem.

why not call a congressman and complain that the precinct is severly undermanned. Why not call Letitia and complain that the Police dept has 6000 less cops than it had 5 years ago. How bout call Mayor Bloomberg and let him know that the theres a budget to put 2800 cops in the Police Academy and they cant even get 800 qualified applicants to start in the July class. Whats happening is a return of the 80's and people are finally feeling the impact of this crisis as evidenced in the dozens of crime and quality of life posts that have become a staple in this Board.

Det. Verna McLean or PO Sasha Pierre Louie. Councilmember James is worthless. She only responds if you have a camera in her face.

i think there does need to be a letter writing campaign re: our under staffed precinct (which of course is part of a bigger city-wide problem)

i am actually working on a letter, i have my own reasons for writing it but if others are interested in participating, pm me and i will make sure it addresses your concerns as well.

Hmm. I live almost across the street from here, just a couple houses down. The kids and I slept through it with the windows wide open. It could be that we are just used to sleeping through noises at this point, I dunno.

Does anyone know when the next CHCA meeting is going to be held? The site hasn't been updated.
    (Slightly off topic)
