Decatur Between Howard and Saratoga

Hello there ...

I'm thinking about moving to an apt. on Decatur (Btw Howard and Saratoga). Can anyone tell me what the neighborhood is like, i.e. safety, shops, surroundings? Thank you.

no idea but i currently live in prospect heights and i am relocating to bedstuy in the fall. the lady who owns the hair salon in my building has a property on decatur and loves the area....?

I used to live on the next block decatur btw ralph and howard and its really cool. its quiet but not much in terms of shops and stuff. You have to go down toward marcus garvey and lewis streets for the shops and such.
