Dead dog on Underhill

I wish I was joking. For the curious, it's a small white terrier (I think) on the west side between Sterling & St. John's. 311 has been notified.

I didn't see any tags or blood. From a distance I was hoping it was a stuffed animal... but no. I passed it on the way to the GAP farmer's market. On the way back it (glug) was still there but had been moved a few feet. I couldn't believe no one else had called 311. I've lived here for quite a while and thought I'd seen it all...

There was a time when you'd see nothing but dead dogs and cats on the streets. Especially in old PH. There were tons of strays and ferrels that would just get whacked from oncoming traffic.
