Franklin and Dean

Pillows were cheap over a decade ago.

Bergen and Underhill
was where we had to buzz you in and all you saw was the window and very neatly cut holes on the wall. This was a process to play with butterflys or black plastik.

When all was closed for renovations Lincoln and Sterling was always reliable while the bridge was in repair.

The Hood has changed since I left.

Is this some sort of modernist prose-poem? If so, that would explain its indecipherability.

If it were a haiku I would guess maybe it was a plug for the new Sushi Tatsu on that corner.

Your speaking to a scholar of the street. (figured you would of known that from what I wrote) I dropped out of grade school and been in prison for the past 15 years.
Bottom line is I do not understand your lingo there guy...
If you were being mugged, is this the language you would use to talk your way out of the situation?

Never said the hood changed for the worst. I've been away for a while, just saying it changed.

Pillows (a.k.a. ravioli's) are dime bags stuffed with marijuana. They look like little pillows.

25 years ago in the East Village there were storefronts with absolutely nothing in them, except a small hole in the wall in the back. The windows were covered, but the door opened. You put your money in the hole and out came a small bag of lousy yet servicable pot. They lasted a few months, at most.

    1. Not a guy.

    2. Last time I was mugged I said nothing. Hey, speaking of what to say and when, would you be reminiscing about low-priced pillows while being arrested?

Fred, what should one say to talk their way out of a mugging? I tried the compromise, "take the money, but just drop the purse, pleeeeze" but that didn't work. I'm genuinely curious what tactics might actually work. I'm assuming there is really no way to talk yourself out of a mugging, probably just ways to talk yourself into a worse situation.

    OK Lady...
I really was not attempting to argue with you, I just couldn't understand what you wrote. Which still was not defined.
The last line was meant as a joke. Sorry...
For the second part of your comment, I really do not plan to get locked up for anything. Just curious though; do you think I should be arrested again because I smoke pot, could be because I have no education, or maybe because I have been in the pen once before. Do you feel this way about everyone that is in my situation?
Your third comment, again is something I am not able to understand.
I still have no clue on what you are trying to say toward my rants on old weed spots.

To the ninja master and enemy of the teenage mutant ninja turtles, I believe I can talk my way out of a mugging with confidence. I guess only because I am a product of the environment, since I came to this country in the mid 80's. I do understand that not everyone can do this. Agian That last line was a joke. Also that Japenese place is awesome the staff is so friendly and the food is amazing.

Thanks its great to be back!

Those places up by thomkins sq park were always terrible, rumors of a couple places lacing the trees with dope. Coming from out there could you really doubt it. How about going across broadway to Washington Sq, won't be laced with dope but maybe oregano or basil.

Ravioli's nice, never heard that before. My boys in Bayridge would like that term.

    Going to bed, goodnight all
