Large, Unstable Woman With Pit Bull

If you're in the habit of walking your dog in Steuben Park (corners of Park, Flushing & Stueben in the Wallabout area) be on the look out for a large woman in her mid-40's with a black pit bull named Taz.

Not sure what set her off but she was going off on a gentleman who was locking his bike to the fence on the Steuben side of the park.

She was shouting a lot of F-this & F-that but the part that really worried me was when she threatened the man with setting her pit bull on him. If that wasn't enough she continued to berate him after he had locked his bike up and when he walked across the street she followed him.

To the dog's credit it was pretty mellow and was more interested in checking out my dogs than taking a piece out of the man who worked across the street.

However anytime a dog owner threatens someone else with an attack from their dog (pit bull or otherwise) I think you need to be concerned about that dog owner's mental stability.

So in closing, if you see a large woman walking a black pit bull around the Clinton Hill/Wallabout neighborhood I suggest you steer well clear of her. The dog is fine but she isn't.

Yes, you knucklehead you, because one would actually be trying to recognize and avoid this particular dog. If it had a tattoo, or a tutu, or something else that visually id'd, that would be important to know.

That's where it definitely is. Thank you. I wasn't sure about how to go about doing that or even how to notify someone to do that.

A thought: is it possible to add the word "bull" to the title here? Because "unstable woman with pit" made me think it was about someone angrily ranting next to a large hole in the sidewalk or something.
