Moving to the nabe

I am thinking of moving to Carrol Street and Schenectady.

Any thoughts on the safety of the area? So far I found "only" two shooting in the last year. The rent is pretty cheap, only 800 Dollars for a 1 Bedroom.

Please let me know, I must make my decision by tomorrow.

Well, there are reasons why some blocks/areas are cheap, you know. But anywhere you go in this city, in Brooklyn, you have to watch yourself. If I were you, I wouldn't make such a fast decision. I would take a look around at different times of day, get a feel for it. Walk up and down Utica, which is nearby.
