Disabled Brooklynians

Hi y'all. If you are a disabled Brooklynian, please post here to say hi, or anything else concerning your disability.

Currently I'm inquiring about a "home attendant" to help with shopping/neighborhood errands approximately once weekly in the zip code 11230. Any helpful information about disability services would be very appreciated.

Hey there. I'm disabled too. But as I need very little help, I can't really help you on the home attendant issue.

You might want to try Center for Family Support in Manhattan. They are a very good agency (one of the few). The only problem is, I think they primarily help the developmentally disabled, but I would give them a call. They might be able to steer you in the right direction.
