i need peanuts!

styrofoam peanuts, and they cost a ton.

anyone got any lying around? i use them to send out orders and i hate wasting $ on them when they can be recycled.

just bumping this up--last time a really nice person called and got me a couple of bags from the food coop. of course, i have forgotten her name and number...

am also seeking bubble wrap. basically, anything to mail out orders to keep them from breaking.

I would love to recycle my packing materials when I get them. I HATE throwing that stuff out. We should start a packing materials exchange on here!

As of last night there was a TON (ok, not literally, but a lot) of styrofoam in our building's basement. Now, it isn't in peanut form, it's more like sheets but I mention it in case it would be worth the trouble to break it up into something usable...

soft sheets?

My mom has taken to using plastic shopping bags to cushion her packages. They're beyond cheap because they're ubiquitous and they work just as well.
