Car accident on 7th and 2nd

anyone see it? Just walked past the corner today and half of crazy lady's scaffolding was all over the sidewalk, along with the awning from the deli next door, complete with skidmarks and a bent parking meter. Hope nobody was under it when it came down...

I think there's a thread on here somewhere about that eyesore the Landmark Pub. When the hell is the owner gonna do something with it? 9 years of living here and I've never seen it open!

someone i am familiar with witnessed incident and called 911.
who says police fire response was under 2 minutes , btw.

My understanding is that Northbound speeding car lost control crossed the divider , plowed thru the scaffolding and finally slammed into tree. (may have been a hydrant too.)

From what i could see/suss out it seems as if the driver was the only real injury.

Kinda miraculous he didnt kill a dozen pedestrians, IMO.
