OK!

After all the raccoon-isms...

If it wasn't interesting enough here in GWH, went down under our porch (we have an "english basement" with windows and an area-way under the porch) to get the hose to water our front garden patch...

After cursing the mosquitoes and flys, DAMN a mouse!

Wait! :? A toad? Wait...a FROG!

Yes, our friendly neighborhood amphibian obviously migrated from one of the ponds in Green-Wood during the recent rain (or the sewer, I guess  ).

After much cursing and moving of stuff, I got the bugger (pun intended ;) ) and with help of my wife, safely transfered him/her to a contractor bucket with water, some nice rocks and even some greenery...until tomorrow morn, when we take trip into Green-Wood to the main pond or Sylvan Lake. Seems content and sedate in the bucket, at last check.

Anyone else have a frog or toad story?

why did you move the frog?

Because it was dehydrated...lack of water.

It moved itself last night out of the bucket onto better horizons...perhaps to our neighbor's pond.

Actually, I was wondering if anyone has toads in their yard. I was thinking about finding some to introduce to my garden for bug reduction purposes.
