yup, just like i need peanuts. no boxes, got plenty. dry-cleaner plastic is always welcome. but bubble wrap, bring it on.

i'm trying to ship all my work while being environmentally friendly!

we used to get A LOT of pottery sent by mail when i was a kid (family friends are 4 generations of potters), always wrapped in a few layers of heavy paper, nested in shredded newspaper and maybe sometimes that springy straw that sort of looks like ramen noodles. all biodegradable, and partly (newspaper) reused. i can't remember anything ever being broken, and this was maybe 30 pieces a year for my whole life at home.

obviously, this is your business and you probably have your reasons for using bubble wrap instead, but just sayin'.

i'm with you on all of this; but retailers want bubble and peanuts, double boxed. i don't know why, but they do. (and i'm pretty sure UPS won't credit refunds for broken items unless they're double boxed, peanuts, etc...)
