Melody Lanes is awesome!

Finally checked it out yesterday with some folks from the board. It was teh awesomeness! The lanes themselves are not so great (ours was a little sticky), and they could use a larger selection of mid-weight balls (it seemed like they were all either 8 lbs or 16 lbs). But the minimal wait, cheap booze, decent fries, and a truly unique bartender won me over. Also the absence of hipsters.

i'm trying to organize a sizable group to go takeover a few lanes. they're open fairly late aren't they?

Until 4am, I think.

yes. make sure he thinks/knows you're 'someone'. doesn't matter what - best garbage man or shitty musician - as long as you can be his 'accomplished **** friend'
