A tailor for Jeans

Has anyone had any luck with a tailor in the neighborhood with getting jeans tailored? I'd prefer to not have the tacky cut off jean look but rather it be done with matching thread.

I have had two pairs of jeans done very nicely at Altan on Court St, she's really good and takes the time to give you advice on hemlines and what looks best on you.

Not in the neighborhood, but I've had very good results from Hong Kong Tailor Jack on Waverly Place right off 6th and across the street from an A/C/F train exit. Did a great job with my favorite pair of Evisu selvage jeans.
