541-545 Washington?

Does anyone know the specifics of the building going up on Washington b/w Fulton & Atlantic? The foundation is big. Sort of may-be-so-tall-it-will-be-blocking-out-the-sun big.

It's always been slated to be 8 stories. Not too tall considering the lot and the fact that the brownstones behind it are mostly 5 stories high. It woun't be much taller than the Cathedral condoes next too it. Should inject some more people to spur more retail development on Fulton, along with the Clinton tower between Fulton and Atlantic.

I agree. Eight stories is nothing for a condo development. Those of us in its shadow got lucky and hopefully won't lose too much sun.

I think 66 new units right there will kick Fulton in the ass. Everyone will be wiring money 24 hours a day on the corner of Washington and Fulton!
