big event by museum today

Hello all

I saw a big event by the museum today. it looked like the street was closed and all. and it went into mt. prospect park. I didn't have time to check it out. what was goin on??

some kind of parade. maybe a practice run for the labor day weekend ones?

Panamanian Day parade -- so said the police officer I asked on the way home from Greenmarket.

Panamanians?

Shouldn't they hold their parade on Canal Street?

There was a marching band.

Also, there were a bunch of vendors in Mount Prospect Park, including many with some very tasty food! Go check it out, it's not too late.
