we moved here only a few months ago, and this morning, my husband really needs to go see a doctor in the neighberhood. He has a horrible cough and has been sick over a week. I need a great doctor we can trust in PS that takes Blue Cross insurance..........or we can pay cash.
Thank you all.

I've used the walk in clinic on Atlantic and I think Clinton, part of Long Island College Hospital, they were fine for that sort of thing

Yes, it is right on the corner of Clinton and Atlantic.

Dr. Steven Simons - he's out in Midwood (514 Avenue M), but it's right on the F line and takes 15 minutes to get there. He is awesome - he's a family doctor who has pediatric rounds at LICH, which is how I met him 14 years ago, when he examined my daughter at birth. Now my whole family goes there. You can reach his office at 718-339-5749.

we went to Dr. Michael Raffinan .........on Atlantic and Clinton.
He was the nicest doctor I have ever been to in my life and took his time with my husband (who has Bronchitis again).
I will def be going back to him in the future.

And Dr. Raffinan wins another patient. He's great but now he's so popular that it's impossible to get an appointment. I'm almost sorry I referred him to 5 of my friends. :)

I feel the same way (even though the Fishmouth recommended me).

I have turned on one friend and another is on her way.

    Dr. R. is the man.

Can anyone tell me if Dr. Raffinan is holistic? I'm looking for a holistic doctor or one who is open minded about things like acupuncture and chiropractors. Right now I'm back with a doctor in New Jersey and I need a local doctor that takes Oxford.

I wanted to personally thank you for your recommendation.
Dr. R i FIERCE (as we say in fashion)
He is def one of those people who wanted to be a doctor so he could help people, not just for the money.
and I agree (as a casting director) he def is a cutey.
maybe I can cast him when we are using "real people" LOL.

Thank you again. Hubby feels better!

I don't know if he would be described as holistic, but he is definitely open-minded about stuff like acupuncture and yoga, things like that. He will sit down and talk to you about what's going on in your life, what might be causing your problems, etc.

Dammit, why am I recommending him! I want him for myself!

I'd say he's definitely willing to work with people who want to use holistic treatments. He knows I don't like to take pills, and he's always been willing to recommend things like herbal teas and nonpharmacological solutions.
