Welcome. Helpful hint #1: the really yummy restaurants are on 5th, not 7th.

Moim (Korean) and Chiles and Chocolates (there are other threads on each of these places) are terrific restaurants on 7th.

There is more of a variety on 5th, but do check these out if you haven't already!

I also really like Oshima. GREAT sushi!

Welcome to the neighborhood. There are great restaurants on 7th as well. Don't expect to get a parking space every time in front of your building though :)

    Hi Vanessa,

That's funny, I bought a book from you guys on eBay this year about Japanese gardens. Welcome to the Slope! It sounds like you're enjoying it already.

Wow, small world. thanks for checking out our auctions. we sell our books on our own website also. i hope the book came in handy. i have seen a lot of pretty city gardens here in the slope.

Neither - if you are close to the park that means you're towards the East. In Park Slope, lower numbered street are North and higher numbers are South. 9th Street has traditionally been the dividing line.

    Oh and welcome!
