can I save a thread?

Sometimes there's a thread which i want to save, kind of like a "memories" feature if you're familiar with livejournal. Something that wouldn't be public but that I could come to the site and retrieve the threads that I liked, or had some useful info, etc.

Is that a feature we can get?

    you *can bookmark a specific thread . . .

I use the Search, because I usually remember enough specific info for a keyword, board, and poster.

If something like that is available as a modification to our bulletin board software, Emily or DailyHeights will probably know, and I imagine they'll check this thread soon. I haven't heard of anything like that, though. Your best bet probably is to bookmark, as pitu suggests -- you could always just keep all your Brooklynian links in one folder or something.

if you use firefox, you can add a mod that will allow you to download a thread and all of the attached links. i've suggested it to folks who are interested in keeping the contents of some of the really, really, really long threads on the board.

I've used this, actually, to archive LJ threads of some of the threatened posters with this new "we hate queers, fandom and erotica" thing sixapart is playing.

do you know what that mod is called?

I'm on LJ too. I knew about the erotica and fandom thing, but not the anti-queer. Which community is talking about all of it?
